If you answered yes to these questions, we are looking for you! A Process Engineer Junior for our factory in Sezzadio (AL).
In this role you will be part of the Plant Production Team and you will be responsible for developing processes and improving production cycles to increase overall productivity in order to reach high industrial performances.

Additional Materials Closures unit is a part of Tetra Pak that produces Closures and manages the distribution of Moulding materials, Adhesives and Tab strips used for Tetra Pak Packaging Systems all over the world. Additional Materials Closures have production plants in Seville (Spain), Sezzadio (Italy), Chateaubriant (France) and Mexicali (Mexico).

Within this unit, the key responsibilities for this job are:
• Analyze the production processes, in particular analysis of the production cycles and productivity and suggest process improvements;
• Apply World Class Manufacturing advanced level in order to reduce set-up, waste and remove bottlenecks;
• Support the design of production line lay-out in order to optimize floor space and production flow;
• Develop processes flow diagrams to show the steps required to transform raw materials into quality products in the most economical way;
• Evaluate the efficiency of plant and equipment and draft proposals for technological improvement through new investments or upgrades of existing machines;
• Implement and treat the installation of production equipment;
• Establish and manage process documentation;
• Collaborate with other business functions for the commissioning of new lines;
• Provide assistance in the early stages of processing, preparing the instructions for use (training manuals for the plant operator and maintenance team);
• Develop engineering process according to the requirements and contractual specifications;
• Promote the improvement and stabilization of production processes with regard to safety, time and quality;
• Motivate and empower people through positive attitude.

This position will be based in Sezzadio (AL) and will requires some travel to manage benchmarking and cross fertilization activities as well as upholding the network within the Production community.

Language and Education:
To be a successful candidate you have a Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Material Engineering or equivalent, with a focus on plastic production processes and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/WCM/Continuous Improvement techniques.
You are fluent in Italian and you have a good level of written and spoken English. Other languages are considered as a plus.

Professional Skills and Experience:
• Knowledge of the moulding of the plastics and control and set-up of injection moulding machines;
• Ability to analyse data, identify and develop improvement opportunities
• Knowledge of CAD programs for design and dimensioning of the tools of production;
• Knowledge of process simulation tools;
• Knowledge of automation of control processes;
• Knowledge of the processes of product development and production technologies in the field of machining.

Personal Qualifications:
To be successful in this position you are a solid team player and you have the ability to exchange information at all levels with different stakeholders. You have good presentation skills and are able to clearly communicate with all levels within the factory organization. You have an innovative approach and you are able to promote your ideas and drive them to results.
You have strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving and definition. You are able to anticipate and understand a complex situation, issue or problem and to review the implications and consequences of problems and possible solutions.

WCM SPECIALIST

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
The candidate will actively cooperate with the Technical support in Production area, with the aim to create new procedures in order to improve and maintain the standard conditions of the lines in production, to reach high performances.

As a Technical support in production Trainee you will directly respond to the Production team; you’ll be involved in a continuous improvement process, you will have the possibility to cooperate with all the services in the plant and you will get the chance to support the training phase to the personnel in production.

Within this organization, you will support the department in the following activities:
• Create new technical procedures
• Plan the training phase and the improvement activities
• Drive the growth of the skills of the personnel in production
• Supporting the extensions plan of continuous improvements activities

The position is based in Sezzadio (Alessandria).

The ideal candidate is:

• Student (willing to develop Thesis project) or newly graduated in Engineering (Electronic, Mechanical or Plastic Material)
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Very good in using PC and related program and tools (Microsoft Office);
• Analytical and results oriented, with a systematic approach to problem definition;
• Proactive and organized;
• Team player, with good communication skills;
• Curious and eager to learn.
